Become a Trustee
Our commitment
The Trustees are an extension of the BHVC Volunteer family and while there are specific Trustee functional roles as with all charities, like Treasure and collection manager, there is also a place for non-role designated Trustees.
We are always looking for enthusiastic new Trustees to join our small friendly heritage charity. If you care about local history, enjoy working with others, and would like to make a difference in your community, this is a rewarding way to get involved. You don’t need specialist experience - just curiosity, commitment, and a willingness to share your ideas.
The Trustees meet regularly to discuss upcoming events, governance and other matters, these meetings are open to all Volunteers to attend.
Since 2016 the Trustees have been elected by the volunteers at the AGM.

Be a Friend of BHVC
Every little helps
The Centre is funded solely by donations and occasional grants, which are used for specific projects. By becoming a Friend you will be supporting our continuing work to preserve Bampton's history, support the local businesses and advise visitors about the town.
For as little as £10 a year, you can help support us. There are also lifetime and corporate options available.
